    The Finance and Analytics department is the central analytical engine of the Company, driving thoughtful strategic planning, financial analysis, competitive intelligence, and operational analysis.  The Investment Analyst is a key member within the department’s underwriting and investment analysis team, primarily focused on analyzing and assessing acquisition and real estate development opportunities.


    The position is focused on crafting financial models, presentations and business plans to senior management and investment partners.


    Project Evaluation

    • Develop detailed financial models to aid the prioritization of investments and project approval.
    • Work with corporate financial leadership and real estate developers in the field to determine which projects to pursue.
    • Assist with preparation of executive presentations and strategic business plans for real estate development and redevelopment opportunities.


    Reporting and Presentation

    • Assist with the preparation of periodic briefings for Company management by completing tasks including, but not limited to:
      • Analyzing historical performance of completed projects.
      • Tracking in-progress projects.


    May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.



    • Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in business).  MBA preferred.
    • Three (3) to seven (7) years of financial, investment and/or strategic analysis experience preferred (real estate and/or seniors housing a plus).
    • May require limited travel (<10%) on behalf of the Company.


    Analytical / Technical

    • Strong understanding of finance and real estate (seniors housing a plus).
    • Extensive corporate modeling and valuation skills.
    • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task.
    • Ability to conduct both qualitative and quantitative analysis of data.
    • Strong strategic thinking, attention to detail, creativity, and execution skills.
    • Strong computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Excel and the full Microsoft Office Suite.



    • Experience presenting to senior management.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
