    Responsibilities

    • Communicate progress and obstacles to the Director of Technology as they relate to technology support or projects.
    • Monitor Solar Winds and other network monitoring tools to ensure all LAN and WAN equipment is healthy.  Resolve any equipment issues while meeting target completion dates/times.
    • Work closely with the Senior Network Administrator to ensure the health and reliability of Atria community networks.
    • Continue building upon established communication standards between IS and customers.
    • Conduct various audits on all network equipment (routers, switches and access points) to ensure that all are using a standard configuration.
    • Provides support to end users on a variety of networking issues.
    • Responds to telephone calls and emails requesting assistance.
    • Install and configure routers, firewall, switches, access points, load balancers, etc.
    • Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair all networking equipment.
    • Provide backup assistance to Senior Network Administrator.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred.
    • Able to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
    • Two or more years working as a Network Administrator
    • Working knowledge of Cisco IOS, Cisco Nexus, ASA firewalls, DMVPN, ISE, MPLS, TCP/IP, subneting, VLAN(s), RADIUS, EIGRP,VOIP,QOS, Cisco AnyConnect.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
    • Must be willing to work extended hours, nights or weekends when necessary.
    • A+, Net+, CCNA, CCNP, MCP preferred.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a strong customer service focus.
    • Able to be self-motivated and directed, to effectively prioritize and execute task in a high pressure environment. 
    • Able to build rapport with a variety of personality types and users at all levels.
    • Able to communicate to and work with senior management and end users.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
