    Responsibilities

    The Developer II performs project coding as assigned, tests, debugs, and documents work as performed on web application projects, and assists on more complex projects. This individual assists in maintaining specifications and design documents of web applications. He/she analyzes and resolves user specifications, project requirements, and application error logs, as well as provides daily progress reports.

     

    • Develop and maintain intranet application using .NET with SQL Server backend.
    • Develop and document interface, front pages, and the tools to navigate a variety of web sites, including, corporate portal and intranet systems.
    • Respond and resolve features and bugs in enterprise applications.
    • Perform unit testing at the page level.
    • Support department standards for database design, forms designs, and programming.
    • Review specifications and provide time estimates on the development of projects and features.
    • Conduct peer code reviews to confirm compliance.
    • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.      
    • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or technical school.
    • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience using .NET, HTML, DHTML, ASP, and JavaScript programming language. JQuery and XML knowledge and experience a plus.
    • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience using MS SQL Server as a backend database repository.
    • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience overseeing technology projects.
    • One (1) to two (2) years of experience writing software requirement specification documents, use cases, etc.
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
    • Strong ability to reason logically and creatively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
