    Atria’s Communication Manager leads omni-channel communications initiatives, programs and projects. Collaborating with different functions within the organization, this individual develops and executes communications plans that drive business results. He/she completes tasks including, but not limited to, strategic planning, writing, content development, partnering with our in-house Marketing team on supporting graphics/media, and measuring effectiveness of all efforts.  


    • Develop strategic communications plans designed to engage key audiences, including, but not limited to, Atria customers, residents and employees. 
    • Plan and maintain Atria’s annual communications calendar.
    • Partner closely with different functions within Atria, demonstrating your ability to solve complex problems and to maintain a flexible and solutions-oriented mindset.
    • Manage the Atria Intranet with communication strategies, stories, content, tools and media.
    • Ensure communications are executed to a standard of excellence and are accurate, engaging, properly positioned, easy to understand, on brand, and consistent with other related communications. 
    • Measure effectiveness of communications with data and insight reporting.
    • Responsible for the voice of the Atria brand.
    • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
    • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a communications setting (Agency or Corporate).
    • Demonstrated ability to conceive, distill and synthesize complex ideas and concepts into distinctive messaging platforms.
    • Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills, including the ability to tailor writing for voice, audience and communications channel.
    • Strong project management skills and the ability to execute programs with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
    • Demonstrated ability to work calmly and collaboratively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, maintaining good judgment and the ability to escalate appropriately.
    • Self-starter, results-oriented, attentive to detail.
    • Professional presence, a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
    • Advanced verbal communication, presentation, and writing and editing skills.
    • Proven ability to fluently articulate information, producing clear and compelling communication.
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt writing styles for different audiences, voices and vehicles.
    • Full command of Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
    • Willing and able to travel.
