    Responsibilities

    The Marketing Technology Administrator is a subject matter expert on technology related to marketing and communications. This person manages systems administration, system training, development and communication of system changes, and supports system integrations. He/she partners with business leadership to optimize, customize and configure technology resources to meet the organization’s mission. Working close with project managers, technical leads, architects and end users, the Marketing Technology Administrator works in all phases of a marketing technology lifecycle. He/she completes tasks including, but not limited to, the gathering of requirements, API documentation, on-going technical support, and continuous improvements focused on the existing marketing technology stack.

     

    • Develop Subject matter expertise on the marketing technology stack (XMPie, Eloqua, Qualtrics, and other packaged and custom applications).
    • Ensure business system environments are properly updated and maintained.
    • Manage continuing configuration of business systems, user maintenance and data cleanup.
    • Create and maintain reporting and dashboards.
    • Develop and communicate training for users regarding system usage, releases and enhancements.
    • Maintain end-user guides, release notes and all support documentation, including tracking bugs, enhancements and features.
    • Partner with leadership to recommend solutions to business needs based upon on-going research into new system features and functionality.
    • Partner with developers and vendors to ensure business requirements are fully implemented, thorough testing is complete and system quality maintained.
    • Effectively manage projects including project timelines, resource allocation, communication, risk identification and management and other issues.
    • Maintain functionality and enhancements for integrated systems.
    • Provide general support to application users.
    • Support department standards for documentation, and create new standards to help build a knowledgebase for all marketing technology.
    • Review specifications and provide time estimates on the development of projects and features in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
    • Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.      
    • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four (4) year college or technical school.
    • One (1) to two (2) years of experience performing administration duties on one of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing cloud, XMPie, Eloqua, Qualtrics, WordPress or similar platforms such as: Salesforce, Emma, Clients & Profits, etc.
    • One (1) to two (2) years of experience using HTML/CSS/JS. Able to convert business rules into technical requirements.
    • Proficient with utilizing and managing environments through the software development lifecycle for enhancements and full project implementations.
    • Experience working with vendor and internal teams on data integration work and daily operations.
    • Experience with multiple Marketing channels (Digital, Display, email, social, SEM, etc).
    • Understanding of how data is connected and activated across channels.
    • Strong logical reasoning, analytical, creatively, self-management, prioritization, and detail-orientation skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
