    Atria is a Senior Living Management Company. We manage over 200 communities across the US and Canada. In the communities we offer Independent, Assisted, and Memory Care Living… so we’re not a nursing home. We have more of an upscale side to senior living rather than a hospital setting.


    From a Corporate side, we call our corporate offices the Support Center where we support the 200+ communities in their daily operations. So whether with Marketing, Accounting, HR, IT, and the list goes on and on, we do that from our office here in Louisville.

    The Bistro Team Member is responsible for assisting with day to day Bistro operations including, but not limited to, greeting customers, taking customers’ orders, facilitating customers’ payments, washing dishes, serving food, bussing tables, and cleaning the kitchen, checkout and eating areas. The individual takes pride in delighting customers with delicious food and world class service.

    • Provide a high level of customer service by greeting customers entering the Bistro and ensuring they are satisfied with their experience.
    • Receive payments from customers and facilitate accurate receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
    • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change available.
    • Work closely with the Bistro Manager and/or Director of Culinary Development to keep customers satisfied with food and dining programs.
    • Remove used or soiled plates, utensils, glasses, and linen as needed.
    • Assist in ensuring the kitchen is kept in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
    • Keep kitchen floors clean (sweep and mop) and trash emptied.
    • Ensure that all food is received, stored, and prepared according to Company standards.
    • Assist with the preparation and presentation of meals and snacks in accordance with Company standards.
    • Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals.
    • Complete food deliveries both within the building and nearby locations as needed.


    • Basic reading and writing skills.
    • Proficient mathematical skills required to add, subtract, and divide accurately.
    • Experience working in food service preferred.
    • Serve Safe Certification preferred.
    • Knowledge of local and state health and sanitation and safety codes preferred.
