Responsibilities

The Payroll Support Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of payroll-related projects and data analysis for the U.S and Canada.

  • Conduct payroll audits to ensure Company polices and state regulations are being adhered to.
  • Provide status report of audits to field and management, and assist with questions on audit results.
  • Prepare standard reports for the Payroll department, along with report requests from external departments such as: Accounting, Tax, Human Resources, Workers’ Compensation, Accounts Receivable, and Business Optimization and Operations Support.
  • Prepare payroll data files for import.
  • Responsible for payroll related projects as assigned.
  • Maintain written procedures for processes.
  • May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); two (2) years of payroll related work experience preferred. 
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong computer skills and familiar with storing files on network drives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking and detail orientation skills.
